The Sunset Hills Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Larry Inman (age 48). On 08/26/1992 at approximately 11:20pm, police officers responded to Holiday Inn (10709 Watson Road) for a report of a dead body found lying inside a 1984 Dodge pickup truck. Inside the truck, officers located the body of Larry Inman. He had been stabbed and had blunt force trauma to his head and was pronounced dead on scene. Larry had been reported as a missing person two days earlier to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

As a result of this investigation, Larry’s wife, Frances Inman (age 52), was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. Her bond was set at $200,000.
