The Normandy Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Caleb Sailor III (age 22). At approximately 11:15am, St. Louis County Park Rangers contacted the Normandy Police Department about a dead body at St. Vincent’s County Park (7335 St. Charles Rock Road). When police officers arrived on scene, they located the body of Caleb Sailor III about 15” inside of a tunnel.
As a result of this investigation, Caleb’s former roommate, John Boyd (age 25), was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. John was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
