The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of William Crenshaw (age 74). At approximately 9:56pm, deputies responded to a residence in the 6500 block of St. Clair Avenue in East St. Louis for a report of a homicide. There they located William Crenshaw deceased inside the residence. He had sustained multiple head injuries.
