The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of James Harris (age 33). At approximately 12:42am, deputies responded to Blase Station Road (approximately 1/8 mile northwest of Highway 94 in rural unincorporated St. Charles County) for a report of a body on the roadway. There they located James Harris who had been shot. He was pronounced dead on scene.
