The Pine Lawn Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Laura Jordan (age 45). At approximately 2:53am, police officers responded to the 3800 block of Manola Avenue for a report of a shooting. There they located Laura Jordan in the street. She had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.

As a result of this investigation, Laura’s boyfriend, Michael Griffin (age 39), was charged with Murder 2nd Degree. His bond was set at $250,000.
