The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Warren Peter Jr (age 24). At approximately 12:14pm, deputies responded to a residence in the 7400 block of Riffle Island Road (Cedar Hill, MO) for a report of a person covered in blood and not breathing. There they located Warren Peter inside the residence. He had been beaten and stabbed and was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Kenneth McFadden (age 19) and Stacy Hunter (age 18) were charged with Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Robbery 1st Degree. They were both arrested on no-bond warrants.
Larry Harris (age 20) was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Robbery 1st Degree. His bond was set at $100,000.
