The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Larry Earl (age 29). At approximately 3:31am, deputies responded to the 6500 block of St. Clair Avenue (East St. Louis, IL) for a report of a shooting. There they located Larry Earl in the driver’s seat of a gold-colored 1981 Cadillac. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
