The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Kristina Povolish (age 19). At approximately 11:38am, deputies responded to Triple Lakes Road (1/4 mile north of Imbs Station Road near Dupo) for a report of a found body. A mail carrier had located Kristina Povolish’s body in a ditch. She had been reported as a missing person on 07/25/1987 to the Belleville Police Department.
