The Pagedale Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of David Cotton (age 22). At approximately 2:01am, police officers responded to the 1300 block of Kingsland Avenue for a report of shots fired. There they located David Cotton lying in the street near Page Boulevard. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
