The Pagedale Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Pamela Simpson (age 26). At approximately 8:02pm, police officers responded to the intersection of Boynton Avenue and Purdue Avenue for a report of an unconscious woman. There they located Pamela Simpson slumped over in the rear seat of a car. She had been discovered by her brother and friends who were looking for her. She had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
