The East Alton Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Clarence Decker (age 67). At approximately 10:00pm, police officers responded to a residence on Airline Drive. There they located Clarence Decker lying on the floor inside the residence. His throat had been cut and he was pronounced dead on scene.
