The Wellston Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Larry Dodd (age 34). At approximately 7:00am, police officers responded to a residence in the 6100 block of Minerva Avenue for a report of a possible dead body. There they located Larry Dodd lying outside on the ground. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
