The Richmond Heights Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of John Spica (age 42). At approximately 7:55am, police officers responded to the 1100 block of Claytonia Terrace for a report of a car bombing with a person inside the vehicle. There they located a black 1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille parked in the street. A bomb had been placed underneath the car and detonated as John Spica sat in the driver’s seat.
