The Arnold Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Irvin Steismeyer (age 50). At approximately 10:54pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Aspen Lane for a report of a woman knocking on a door and screaming. While officers were en route to the scene, they received additional information there had been shots fired and a person had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they located Irvin Steismeyer inside his residence. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
