The Hillsdale Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Billy Walton (age 29). At approximately 7:43pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Kienlen Avenue for a report of a disturbance with possible shots fired. There they located Billy Walton lying in the yard. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
