The Maplewood Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Agnes Greenwell (age 50). At approximately 2:02am, police officers responded to a residence in the 7500 block of Jerome Avenue for a report of a woman unconscious on the floor. There they located Agnes Greenwell inside the residence. Her throat had been cut and she was pronounced dead on scene.

As a result of this investigation, Kevin Kiger (age 23) was charged with Agnes Greenwell’s murder. He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
