The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Everette McGuire (age 63). At approximately 12:50pm, deputies responded to a residence on U.S. 61 north of Route M (near Imperial, MO) for a well-being check. There they located Everette McGuire on the basement steps with his hands tied behind his back. He had been strangled and was pronounced dead on scene.
