The Madison Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Antwone Brown. At approximately 11:51pm, officers responded to the 500 block of Washington Ave for multiple 911 calls of a person being shot. There officers located Antwone Brown (age 48) who had been shot. He was transported to a hospital in St. Louis where he died from his injuries.
As a result of this investigation, Marvin Treadway (age 48) was charged with 1st Degree Murder. His bond was set at $3,000,000.
Marvin’s father, Marvin E. Bradley (age 68) was charged with two felony counts of Obstructing Justice during the course of this investigation. His bond was set at $50,000.
