Classification: Homicide

The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Curtis Marshall. At approximately 9:55, officers responded to the 1700 block of Cargill Drive, Dellwood, MO for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they found Curtis Marshall (age 15) inside the residence suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he died. No other occupants of the residence were injured.

As a result of this investigation, Jalin Jefferson (age 14) was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action in Curtis’ death. A no-bond warrant was issued for his arrest. Jalin was certified to face charges as an adult.
