The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of RaQuan Jones. On 06-20-2018 at approximately 11:00pm, police officers responded to the 6000 block of Julian Avenue in Wellston for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found RaQuan Jones (age 18) deceased from gun shot wounds. A second person was also shot and taken to the hospital.
