The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of a 38 year-old woman. At around 10:00pm, deputies responded to the first block of Goodwood Trail, near Elsberry, MO, in unincorporated Lincoln County for a well-being check. A deceased woman was located inside her residence. After an investigation into her death, it is believed she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
