The Charlack Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Tarria Pointer (age 22). On 5-26-2012 at approximately 9:06pm, police were called to an apartment in the 2500 block of La Caracas Place. Family members had found Tarria Pointer’s body inside her apartment where she had been stabbed to death.
As a result of this investigation, Pointer’s ex-boyfriend, Antonio Bell (age 33), was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Stealing of a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $500,000.
