The St. Ann Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Tabitha Buckingham. At approximately 11:49pm, police officers responded to an apartment in the 3000 block of Sabourin Drive for a report of a deceased female. There they found Tabitha Buckingham (age 20), who was 4 months pregnant, deceased. She had been shot.
As a result of this investigation, Phillip Parish (age 20) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
