The Berkeley Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of William Shoemate. At approximately 11:00am, police officers responded to a Washington Park Cemetery near the area of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport for a report of a body in the cemetery. There they found William Shoemate (age 48) who was deceased. William had been missing since he left his residence in Overland, MO on 12-07-2010.
