The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Kenneth Chaney. At approximately 4:15am, deputies responded to an area in St. Clair County near Cahokia where they found Kenneth Chaney (age 44) deceased inside a vehicle. He had been shot.
