The East St. Louis Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Alexander McKinnies. At approximately 7:29pm, police officers responded to 4th Street at Trendley Ave. There they found Alexander McKinnies (age 17) who had been shot and killed.
