The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Lemuel Houston. At 10:39pm, deputies responded to the 3200 block of Camp Jackson Road for a report of shots fired. There they located Lemuel Houston (age 48) inside a residence. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
