The Belleville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of a 31 year-old woman. At 7:46pm, police officers responded to an apartment in the 700 block of Royal Heights road for a well-being check. The reporting party stated she had not seen her neighbor for 6 days and was concerned. Inside the apartment, officers located the 31 year-old woman deceased. After an extensive investigation, it was determined the woman died from a drug overdose.
