The Madison County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Latrina Brown. On 05/29/2001 at approximately 4:30pm, deputies were notified of possible skeletal remains. In a densely wooded area west of the McCambridge overpass near the Eagle Park area of Madison, IL, deputies located the skeletal remains of Latrina Brown (age 24). She was identified through dental records. The last time Latrina was seen was on or around 04/19/2000. It was determined she died from multiple sharp force traumas to the head.
