The Webster Groves Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of a 32 year-old man. Police officers responded to a residence in the 7800 block of Big Bend Boulevard for a report of a possible suicide. When officers arrived on scene, they located the man lying on a bed inside the residence. He had several puncture wounds to his abdomen and neck. He was pronounced dead on scene.

After a thorough investigation, it was determined all the injuries were self-inflicted and the man died from suicide.
