The Creve Coeur Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Elizabeth Mackintosh (age 50). At approximately 7:30am, police officers responded to Covenant Theological Seminary (12330 Conway Road) for a report of a possible suicide. There they located Elizabeth Mackintosh in the men’s restroom of the seminary chapel where she worked as a housekeeper. She was also a student at the seminary. Elizabeth had been stabbed in the neck and a cord tied around her neck. She had died from strangulation. It was determined Elizabeth was the victim of a homicide.
