The Hillsdale Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Cedell Walton (age 47). At approximately 5:15pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 6200 block of Bailey Place for a report of a sudden death. There they located Cedell Walton inside the residence. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
