The Creve Coeur Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Monica Munson (age 19). At approximately 9:28am, police officers responded to Pantera’s Pizza (10477 Old Olive Street Road) for a report of a possible shooting. There they located Assistant Manager Monica Munson in a back room. She had been repeatedly stabbed and was pronounced dead on scene.

As a result of this investigation, Randy Resnick (age 29) was charged with Murder 1st Degree. He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
