The Ballwin Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Julia Bulloch (age 31). At approximately 5:10am, police officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of White Tree Lane for a report of a house fire. When officers and firefighters arrived on scene, the attached garage was on fire with visible flames and smoke. Inside the garage, they located the body of Julia Bulloch taped to a chair. It was determined she had died from asphyxiation prior to the fire being set.
As a result of this investigation, Julia’s husband, Dennis Bulloch (age 32) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Arson.
