The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Carl Eberhardt (age 32). At approximately 12:09am, deputies responded to a residence on Feltes Road, located in a remote area of southeastern St. Charles County (commonly known as West Alton, MO), for a report of a shooting. There they located Carl Eberhardt on the porch of the residence. He was shot and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Carl died the following day from his injuries.
