The Ferguson Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the deaths of James Ely (age 44) and Jovanar Jackson (age 27). At approximately 8:40pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Norlakes Drive for a report of a possible homicide. There they located James Ely and Jovanar Jackson deceased inside the residence.
