The Berkeley Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Nancy Crocker (age 22). At approximately 12:04am, police officers responded to the parking lot of the King’s Inn Hotel (9600 Natural Bridge Road for a report of a possible shooting. There they located Nancy Crocker in her 1974 Volkswagen. She had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
