The Jennings Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of William Armstrong (age 46). At approximately 10:12pm, an officer on routine patrol located a 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in a parking lot in the 7600 block of West Florissant Avenue. Upon investigating the car as a possible stolen vehicle, he located the body of William Armstrong inside the car. William had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
