The Florissant Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Joseph Jones (age 41). At approximately 10:30pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Valencia Drive for a report of a possible stabbing. There they located Joseph Jones who had been stabbed and was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Joseph’s brother, J. D. Jones (age 24) was charged with Murder 1st Degree in Joseph’s death.
