Suspect: Daniel Raymond Stevens

The Ballwin Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Elizabeth Abbott (age 47). At approximately 1:30pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Dennison after a family member located Elizabeth Abbott deceased inside the residence. It was determined Elizabeth had died from blunt force trauma to the head.

As a result of this investigation, Elizabeth’s next-door neighbor, Daniel Stevens (age 14 - charged as an adult) was charged with Elizabeth’s murder.
