The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Roosevelt Davis. On 04-14-2018 at around 1:00pm, Sheirff’s deputies responded to the County Line Quick Shop at 2913 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia for a report of a person shot. There Roosevelt Davis was located in the parking lot where he had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead on scene.
A silver or gray Pontiac with Illinois temporary plates was seen leaving the area after the murder. The vehicle was later located but a suspect has not been identified.
