The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Brandon Scott (age 10). At approximately 9:56pm, deputies responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Roosevelt Avenue in unincorporated Belleville for a report of a juvenile male who had been shot. Brandon was inside his residence when he was shot from outside the residence. Brandon was taken to the hospital where he died.
