The Calverton Park Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the murder of Louis Banks. On 11-18-2019 at approximately 10:30pm, the Calverton Park PD responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Elbering Drive. Police officers located Louis Banks and another individual both suffering from gun shot wounds. Both victims were taken to a local hospital. Louis later died of his injuries. The other victim survived.
