The St. Charles Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Roy Nash. St. Charles police officers responded to a report of a man, identified as Roy Nash, lying in the grass in the 1800 block of Willow Oak. Roy had already passed away when officers arrived. Damontay’e Perkins and Roy’s granddaughter, Varjulia Watkins, were charged with his murder.
