The Berkeley Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Neno Ward (age 21). At approximately 3:30pm, police officers responded to the 8200 block of Airport Road for a report of a drive-by shooting. There they located Neno Ward in his 1984 Chevrolet Trailblazer. He had been driving his vehicle when he was shot and killed.
As a result of this investigation, Aubrey Morgan (age 21) was charged with Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Assault 2nd Degree in Neno’s death. He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
