The Kinloch Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Vallia Fairfax (age 21). At approximately 7:53pm, police officers responded to Amoco Pumper (5750 N Hanley Rd) for a report of a possible robbery. There they located station attendant Vallia Fairfax lying on the restroom floor of the service station. She had been shot and was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
