Suspects: Two 16 year-old males

The Ferguson Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Floyd Blackwell (age 40). At approximately 10:37pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Suburban Avenue for a possible burglary in progress. There they located Floyd inside the residence. He had been shot and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. It was determined his home had been burglarized. Two 16 year-old males were arrested in Floyd’s death.
