The St. Ann Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Ben Saunders Jr (age 46). At approximately 1:10am, police officers responded to a residence in the 4200 block of Geraldine Avenue for a report of shots fired with a person shot. There officers found Ben Saunders Jr lying in the street. He had been shot and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
