The Ferguson Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the deaths of Corzelius Kent and Articia Johnson. On 11/09/2020 at approximately 10:46pm, officers responded to the 9300 block of Caddiefield Road for a report of shots fired. There officers located Corzelius Kent (age 22) and Articia Johnson (age 18) inside a vehicle where they had both been shot. Corzelius was pronounced dead on scene. Articia was transported to the hospital where she died.
As a result of this investigation, Jajuan Foster (age 20) was charged with two counts each of Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. A no-bond warrant was issued for his arrest.
