The St. Charles Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad after they responded to a well-being check of a person lying on the ground in the 800 block of North 2nd Street. Upon officers arrival, they found Brady Wood (age 31) deceased.
As a result of this investigation, Autumn Nuspl (age 21) and Michael Leslie (age 29) were each charged with Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, Murder 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Their bond was set at $250,000 each.
